Police: Carjacking Reported Monday Morning in Arlington

Crime Report: April 28, 2015

REPORTS

ROBBERY, 150427009, 2800 block of Columbia Pike. Between 8:47 and 9:00 am on April 27, a subject entered a business and stole various medications without paying. When a store employee confronted the suspect, he brandished a knife and made a threat to harm the victim. The suspect fled the scene on foot and was located a short time later. Michael Wilson, 43, of Washington, DC was arrested for robbery and held without bond.

CARJACKING, 150427014, 4100 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. At 8:30 am on April 27, an unknown subject opened the driver’s side door of the victim’s vehicle and pulled him out. The suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, approximately 35 – 40 years old, approximately 5’8” to 5’10”, wearing a black baseball cap, blue jeans, gray hoodie, black jacket and tan Timberland boots. The investigation is ongoing.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 150427044, 600 block of N. Glebe Road. At 7:02 pm on April 27, while standing in the check-out line of a grocery store, an intoxicated subject grabbed the buttocks of a female victim multiple times. A friend of the victim followed the suspect until police arrival as he attempted to flee. Timothy Gerard Murray, 43, of Arlington, VA, was arrested for sexual battery and held on a unsecured bond until sober.

BURGLARY, 150427005, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At 1:42 am on April 27, an unknown male subject entered a business and stole money from a safe. The suspect is described as being approximately 5’6 and 150 lbs. The investigation is ongoing.
