Police Investigate Shots Fired Near Columbia Pike In Arlington
Arlington County Police recovered a shell casing near Columbia Pike Thursday night after residents reported shots fired the night before.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police recovered a shell casing on a street near Columbia Pike Thursday night after residents reported shots fired in the neighborhood the night before.
At about 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Arlington’s Emergency Communications Center received reports of shots fired in the area of Columbia Pike and S. Greenbrier Street in the Forest Glen neighborhood.
Police officers canvassed the area and no evidence of a shooting or property damage Wednesday night, police said.

But shortly after 8 p.m. on Thursday, police were dispatched to the 800 block of S. Frederick Street, near where the shots fired were reported on Wednesday, and recovered a shell casing.
The police said they do not have any suspect descriptions.
