Police Searching For 3 Suspects Connected To Arlington Robbery
A man was robbed at knifepoint while sitting in his car near Swanson Middle School in the Westover area of Arlington early Monday morning.
ARLINGTON, VA — A man was robbed at knifepoint while sitting in his car near Swanson Middle School in the Westover area of Arlington early Monday morning, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
At about 4:15 a.m. Monday, the victim was inside his parked car in the 5800 block of Washington Boulevard when a black sedan pulled up beside the car and three men got out of the vehicle.
The suspects opened the victim’s driver and passenger side doors. One of the suspects brandished a knife, and a second suspect hit the victim and stole his cellphone. The third suspect stole the victim’s key ring, which contained his car and house keys.

When the suspects demanded the victim get out of his car, he started honking the car’s horn. The three suspects fled the scene in their car, police said.
The victim did not sustain serious injuries, and he declined treatment from medics, police said.

The three suspects are described as Black men, about 20 to 25 years old, wearing all black clothing, according to police.
