Police Seek Brazen Wheel Thieves in Series of Pentagon City Grand Larcenies
Police are on the lookout for two men who hit parking lots and garages in South Arlington.
ARLINGTON, VA — Police have released photos of two men who they say have left vehicles on blocks with their wheels missing in multiple incidents in Pentagon City this month -- all while taking sneaky actions to avoid security cameras.
Police responded to Riverhouse Apartments at 1600 S. Joyce Street at around 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, after receiving "reports of two vehicles being left on blocks with their wheels missing," according to the initial report from the Arlington County Police Department.
Fifteen minutes later, "officers responded to the 1300 block of Army Navy Drive for the report of a second vehicle located on concrete blocks with all four tires and rims removed," according to a Sept. 22 police statement.
