Police: Sex Assault Reported Sunday Night on Herndon Street

The following incidents were reported Monday by the Arlington County Police Department in their crime report:

REPORTS

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 150925025, 900 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 12:56 p.m. on September 25, a 40 year-old male victim was assaulted and struck in the face with an unknown blunt object. The suspect fled on foot and is described as a black male in his 20’s, approximately 5’6”-5’11” and weighed 140 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded jacket with neon highlights, black athletic pants, black sneakers, and a black ski mask.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 150927009, 1000 block of N. Barton Street. At approximately 5:08 a.m. on September 27, a 37 year-old male victim was assaulted and sustained a laceration to the back of his head. The victim was transported to Virginia Hospital Center for stitches. Warrants were obtained for malicious wounding for Gervin Osmin, Ordonez Calderas, 23, of Arlington Va.

ROBBERY, 150927041, 2400 block of S. Jefferson Davis Highway. At approximately 10:28 p.m. on September 27, an unknown female subject stole several items from the CVS. When confronted by a store employee she assaulted him and fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black female, approximately 5’4” tall and weighed 170 lbs. She was wearing a purple shirt with black stripes and black jeans.

SEXUAL ASSAULT, 150927039, 1200 block of S. Herndon Street. At approximately 10:00 p.m. on September 27, a 23 year-old female victim was allegedly sexually assaulted by an unknown male. The subject is described as a white male in his fifties, approximately 5’7” tall and was heavy set. He was wearing a dark suit and a white button down shirt at the time of the incident.

BURGLARY, 150926047, 3600 block of N. 10th Street. Between 7:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on September 26, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a storage unit and stole a bicycle. There is no suspect(s) description.

LARCENY FROM AUTO(series), 150926071, 700 block of N. Cleveland Street. Between 10:40 p.m. and 11:16 p.m. on September 26, an unknown subject entered at least three vehicles in a one block radius and stole numerous items. There is no suspect(s) description.
