Possible Arcing Incident at Rosslyn Metro Station: Reports

BREAKING: Firefighters have responded to the Rosslyn Metro station and delays are reportedly up to a half hour.

ARLINGTON, VA — Firefighters have responded to the Rosslyn Metro station due to a possible fire from an arcing insulator on the tracks near the station, according to reports.

Metro tweeted at around 3 p.m. that trains were single-tracking between Foggy Bottom and Arlington Cemetery due to fire department activity outside Rosslyn, with delays in both directions.

WJLA reporter Bri Carter tweeted that all trains were coming through the lower level of the station, and none on the upper platform, due to the investigation of "possible arcing."
