Possible Murder-Suicide In Pentagon City Under Investigation: Police
Arlington County Police are investigating the deaths of a man and woman inside a Pentagon City residence as a possible murder-suicide.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police detectives are investigating an apparent domestic homicide-suicide after the bodies of a man and woman were found inside their Pentagon City home.
Officers were dispatched around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday for the report of a possible death in the 500 block of 12th Street S. Before contacting police, a building maintenance man had entered the residence to perform a welfare check on behalf of a family member. The arriving officers discovered the bodies of an adult male and adult female in a bedroom. They both appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds, according to police.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. Police are awaiting proper identification and notification of family members before releasing the identities of the deceased man and woman.

There appears to be no indication of threat to the wider community, according to police. This appears to be an isolated event.
