A power line fell on a car parked on Lorcom Lane and ignited it Tuesday just before noon, according to the Arlington County Fire Department.
Black smoke could be seen billowing from the area; firefighters got the call at about 11:50 a.m. Tuesday and initially had to watch the car burn since it was an electrical fire, before Dominion Power could get to the scene to switch off power, said spokeswoman Sarah Marchegiani.
No one was injured, she said.
