Restaurant Closes in Arlington: Report

What restaurant would you like to see take its place?

Was it a case of a restaurant never recovering, after a poor review from The Washington Post?

La Tagliatella opened nearly two years ago in Clarendon, received a half-star rating and a scathing review from critic Tom Sietsema in June 2013.

“La Tagliatella in Arlington makes a strong case for hazard pay for restaurant critics. The Italian concept, an unfortunate import from Europe that plays up 400 combinations of pasta and sauce, is so distasteful on so many different levels, I was tempted to dismiss it after just one visit.”

The restaurant closed its doors on Friday, ARLnow reported on Friday.
