Rita’s In Arlington Rolls Out New Mermaid Italian Ice Flavor

ARLINGTON, VA — Mermaid Italian Ice, a pink Italian ice made with berry and marshmallow flavors, is available at Rita’s locations nationwide from Monday, June 15, through Sunday, July 19. The flavor is topped with Unicorn Glitter.

Arlington customers can find the new flavor at Rita’s, 3800 Langston Blvd., Unit D.

The Mermaid Italian Ice is available on its own and in two featured menu items. The Mermaid Gelati combines Mermaid Italian Ice with Rita’s Vanilla Frozen Custard and is topped with Unicorn Glitter. The Mermaid Ice Blender blends the berry-marshmallow flavor into a frozen drink, also finished with Unicorn Glitter.

Rita’s said its Italian Ice is made fresh daily on-site and offered in a rotating selection from more than 80 flavors. Other menu items include Frozen Custard, Gelati, Concretes, Frozen Coffee, Blendinis, milkshakes and more.

The company also encourages customers to download the Rita’s Ice app to earn rewards. New members can receive one free small Ice, Custard or Gelati after signing up, according to Rita’s.
