A number of Pentagon City roads will be closed Sunday morning to facilitate the Tunnels to Towers Foundation Never Forget Walk.
ARLINGTON, VA — Motorists traveling Sunday morning through the Pentagon City area should seek an alternate route as a number of roads will be closed for a charity walk, according to a county release.
Arlington County Police will be closing S. Hayes St., between S. Fern St. and S. 15th St., from 8 a.m.-12 p.m., on Sunday for the Tunnels to Towers Foundation Never Forget Walk.
In addition, police will be implementing rolling road closures as participants make their way from Fire Station #5, located as 1750 S. Hayes St., to Courthouse Plaza, and then to Washington, D.C.

Motorists should also be on the lookout for temporary "No Parking" signs in the Pentagon City area. Vehicles that are illegally parked may be ticketed or towed. Motorists whose vehicles are towed from a public street should contact the Emergency Communications Center at 703-558-2222.
Rather than driving to the walk, participants and spectators are encouraged to take Metro to the Pentagon City Station or use "for hire" transportation.=
