Rosslyn Restaurant Shuts Down After Just 3 Months

"Secret Chopsticks" offered high-concept Chinese food, but the restaurant apparently never took hold.

The high-concept Chinese food restaurant that moved into the swank Turnberry Tower in Rosslyn just three months ago appears to have already shut its doors.

Various media reports indicates that a sign that reads "Closed for business" has been hung on its doors at 1850 N. Fort Myer Drive, and the restaurant will be replaced by a new dining establishment called Anjorie.

Secret Chopsticks opened in November. Chef Robin Li intended the restaurant to be high concept, elevating Chinese food to a five-star dining experience. The plan was to serve a variety of tasting menus, and operate a bar and lounge with a la carte menu options.

The restaurant got mixed reviews on the website Yelp, getting an average of three stars as multiple diners penalized the restaurant for its high-priced menu and complained of slow service, while others praised the cuisine and said it was worth the price.

Said one reviewer, presciently: "Since Rosslyn is predominantly office, I hope they can improve the experience, or they won't last."
