Severe Storm Strands Man Under Bridge In Arlington

The man has been safely removed and is being evaluated by EMS.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Firefighters had to rescue a man who had become stranded under a bridge over Four Mile Run in South Arlington due to the storm Monday night.

Arlington County Fire Department units responded to the 2800 block of S. Glebe Road to a report of a person stranded over high water in Four Mile Run, the department tweeted at around 8:30 p.m. Monday night.

The man was removed and is being evaluated by EMS. No one else was found under the bridge.
