Shirlington Movie Theater Undergoing Renovations
Large reclining chairs coming to seven-screen theater in Shirlington Village.
Shirlington movie theater, AMC Loews Shirlington 7 in Arlington’s Shirlington Village, has closed for renovations.
The owners told Washington Business Journal earlier this year that the renovation would take a few months and cost several million dollars, with relocation of the restrooms, overhaul of the concessions area and the all-important comfy reclining seats.
ARLnow reports that the movie theater will reopen in November and that plans also call for AMC to expand its menu and may add wine and beer.
