UPDATE: Shirlington Village Tree Lighting Rescheduled
Event will include Signature Theatre holiday production, photos with Santa and more.
The holiday tree lighting (and much more!) at Shirlington Village in Arlington has been rescheduled for Monday, Dec. 7 from 6-8:30 p.m.; the original date, Tuesday, Dec. 1, got rained out.
Here’s the schedule of events:
• Signature Theatre Holiday Production at 6 p.m.
• Tree Lighting at 6:30 p.m. hosted by special guest
• Photos with Santa at 6:45 p.m. (located inside The UPS Store)
• Bishop O’Connell Choir Performance at 7 p.m.
• Horse and Carriage Rides*
• Live Holiday Music from The Lovejoy Group
• Snowman Photo Board Station
• Holiday Cookie Decorating (located inside CakeLove space)
• Face Painting
• Balloon Twisting
• Strolling Entertainment/Bishop O’Connell Acapella groups
• Merchant specials and promotions
*Bring a non-perishable item to benefit the Arlington Food Assistance Center
