Shirlington's Medi Restaurant Suddenly Shuts Down
The restaurant was not able to renew its lease and will close the location.

ARLINGTON, VA — A highly rated restaurant in Shirlington has suddenly closed its doors after finding out its lease would not be renewed.
Medi, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant offering Chipotle-style customization of menu options, was one of the most highly rated restaurants in the area and holds a rating of 4 on Yelp, 4.2 on Google and 4.5 on GrubHub. But on Oct. 30, the restaurant officially closed its doors at 4037 Campbell Avenue in The Village at Shirlington.
"We've loved making family and friends with you all over the past 4 1/2 years, but as of October 30, Medi is closing its doors," the restaurant said in a Facebook post. "Our lease will not be renewed. Thank you so much for all of the support. You have made serving Medi's awesome food so enjoyable."
