ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington man faces multiple charges, including abduction, in connection with an incident that took place Tuesday night along Columbia Pike, according to the daily crime report.

Arlington County Police officers responded around 9:56 p.m. for the report of a dispute in the 5500 block of Columbia Pike. Police determined that a woman had been arguing with with a man she knew. The victim told police the man pulled out a firearm, threatened her and tried to force her into a vehicle. In the process, a shot was fired into the air and the man ran off.

Following a preliminary investigation, police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Kahime Green of Arlington. After obtaining warrants for Green's arrest, the officers located him and took him into custody. Green was charged with abduction, brandishing a firearm, assault & battery, reckless handling of a firearm, and discharging a firearm in a public place.
