Stabbing Charges Filed Against Fairfax Woman: Police Report
Arlington County Police charged a Fairfax woman with aggravated malicious wounding in a March 7 stabbing incident in Buckingham.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested a Fairfax woman and charged her with stabbing a victim at a Buckingham area residence Saturday, according to the daily crime report.
On Saturday, March 7, around 4:18 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 4300 block of N. Pershing Drive for the report of an assault with a weapon. Arriving on the scene, officers learned the victim and suspect had been involved in a verbal dispute that had escalated. Police say the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times. After rendering aid to the victim, the officers located the suspect and took her into custody. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
ACPD arrested Stephanie Batol, 28, of Fairfax, and charged her with aggravated malicious wounding.
