Stabbing Victim Seeks Aid Outside Police Headquarters
Arlington County Police assisted a victim who'd been stabbed multiple times Friday night at a Courthouse-area social gathering.

ARLINGTON, VA — A victim suffering from stab wounds he received Friday night at a social gathering in the Courthouse area sought the assistance of an Arlington County Police Department officer outside of Police Headquarters, according to the daily crime report.
ACPD officers began rendering aid to the victim, who had been stabbed multiple times, according to police. They continued to help him until medics arrived and he was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Following a preliminary investigation, police learned the victim was attending a social gathering in the 1700 block of N. Troy Street, when a verbal dispute between known individuals started to escalate. When the victim attempted to intervene, the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times, according to police. The victim fled the scene to seek out help.
