State Police: Fatality on Moped Was Single-Vehicle Crash

Police initially thought that another car was involved in a crash Thursday that killed an Arlington resident.

The Virginia State Police said Saturday night that a fatal moped crash Thursday afternoon was actually a single-vehicle crash and another car was not involved as originally thought.

The crash Thursday afternoon killed Jerry Knight, 51, of Arlington.

Police had sought help from the public to find another vehicle they thought was involved in the crash.
