Stillwater & Stone To Soft Open June 16 At The Westin Crystal City

ARLINGTON, VA — Stillwater & Stone, a new restaurant and bar inside The Westin Crystal City, is set to soft open June 16 in Arlington’s National Landing neighborhood.

The restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner, with a menu focused on American coastal cuisine and land-and-sea dishes. Featured menu items include pan-seared Norwegian salmon with herbed ancient grains, charred broccolini, lemon oil and balsamic glaze; roasted stuffed Jidori chicken breast wrapped in bacon with spinach artichoke stuffing, roasted fingerling potatoes, sautéed spinach and garlic pan jus; and steak frites with New York strip, chimichurri and house-seasoned fries.

The restaurant’s beverage program will include classic cocktails, spirit-forward specialty drinks, seasonal offerings, local craft beers and wine selections, according to the announcement.

“Stillwater & Stone was created to be more than just a hotel restaurant—it’s designed to serve as a gathering place for both the surrounding community and visitors alike,” general manager Vikas Lalwani said in a statement. “We wanted to create an experience that feels vibrant, approachable, and elevated, where guests can connect over exceptional food, cocktails, and hospitality.”

Stillwater & Stone is designed to serve both travelers and local residents, with service ranging from daytime dining and coffee from Commonwealth Joe to evening cocktails and dinner. The restaurant includes lounge seating, a central bar and flexible dining areas for small gatherings and larger social occasions, according to the announcement.

The June 16 opening will serve as a preview ahead of the restaurant’s official grand opening later this summer. Additional details, including hours of operation, happy hour offerings, seasonal menus and programming, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
