Suspicious Package Cleared After Evacuation At Reagan Airport
The item was discovered at Ronald Reagan Washington International Airport around 9 a.m., officials said.
ARLINGTON, VA — The discovery of a suspicious package prompted the evacuation of a concourse at Ronald Reagan Washington International Airport on Thursday.
The package was cleared by the Arlington County Fire Department around 10:20 a.m., airport officials said in an update.
According to the airport, the package was discovered around 9 a.m. in a break room in Concourse D.

Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority police set up a perimeter around the item until the fire department arrived. Passengers were also evacuated from the concourse.
In an update shared around 10:40 a.m., airport officials said operations at Reagan are returning to normal. Passengers are urged to reconfirm flight times and gate assignments with their airline.
