Swastika, Racial Slur Spray Painted On Sidewalk, Vehicle In Arlington
Arlington County Police are investigating a recent incident involving graffiti as a possible hate crime.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are asking the public's help in their investigation of a possible hate crime that occurred Monday morning in the 2700 block of N. Jefferson Street.
Officers responded around 7:19 a.m. for the report of graffiti in the 5700 block of 27th Street N. The reporting party told officers that they had found a swastika painted on the sidewalk.
After canvassing the area, the officers located two vehicles in the 2700 block of N. Jefferson Street that had been spray painted. One of the vehicles had a swastika and racial slur painted on it.

Police are investigating the incident as a possible hate crime. Anyone who has information about this incident is asked to contact ADPD’s Tip Line at 703-228-4180 or ACPDTipline@arlingtonva.us.
