Sweetgreen Opens Location in Crystal City
Fast casual restaurant got its start in Georgetown in 2007 serving up local, organic ingredients in salads and soups.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Sweetgreen opened a new location Thursday in Arlington’s Crystal City neighborhood with a fundraiser for Freshfarm Markets.
The new restaurant opened at 2200 Crystal Drive (see map below). Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Here’s a look at the menu.
Founded in 2007, sweetgreen is a fast-casual destination for “fun, delicious food that’s both healthy for you and aligned with your values,” the company says. “We source local and organic ingredients from farmers we know and partners we trust, supporting our communities and creating meaningful relationships with those around us. We exist to create experiences where passion and purpose come together.”

“Matching Dollars helps lower economic barriers to fresh market foods to shoppers using SNAP (Food Stamps), by doubling what they spend! Pictured is what $30 can get a shopper using SNAP ($15 in benefits plus $15 in free Match from us). What’s not to love? More healthy food for people in need and increased sales for farmers!”
“Grab lunch and dinner on Thursday at this gorgeous new Sweetgreen and support this amazing program!”
