Texas Woman Charged With Stabbing, Robbery In Courthouse Area: Police

A Texas woman was arrested Monday night in connection with a stabbing in the Courthouse area of Arlington, according to county police.

ARLINGTON, VA — A Texas woman was arrested Monday night in connection with a stabbing in the Courthouse area of Arlington, according to county police.

The stabbing victim was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.

At about 7 p.m. on Monday, Arlington County Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Clarendon Blvd. in response to a report of an assault with a weapon.

Police learned that two people, who knew each other, got into an argument. The woman then stole the man’s wallet and phone, police said. The two started to struggle when the woman stabbed the man, according to police.

The woman fled the scene on foot and was later stopped in her car by Arlington County Police. She was taken into custody without incident, police said.

The suspect, Hannah Vance, 24, of Austin, Texas, was charged with malicious wounding and robbery. She was held in jail without bond.
