Thanksgiving, Black Friday 2018 Mall Hours In Arlington

ARLINGTON, VA -- It's Thanksgiving, which means two things -- lots of turkey, and shopping craziness. So if you're looking to get to the mall, here's a quick breakdown of what you can expect whether you head out on Turkey Day or Black Friday.

The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City has truncated hours on Thanksgiving, only open for six hours in the evening. It will open at 5 p.m., much later than usual, but it will close later at 11 p.m.

The mall will be open bright and early at 7 a.m. on Black Friday, and close at the usual time of 9:30 p.m. It will have normal hours this weekend.

Nationally, there's a mix of retailers opening and closing on Thanksgiving. Retailers such as A.C. Moore, Barnes & Noble, Marshalls and Nordstrom will be closed, as well as grocery stores like BJ's Wholesale Club, Costco, Sam's Club and Trader Joe's. Other stores like JC Penney, Target, GameStop, Macy's and Old Navy will open in the afternoon on Thanksgiving.
