Look at all these smiling faces. They are the faces of some friends, family and supporters who have joined me in the fight against blood cancer. And, they should all be proud.
Together we have raised $1,757 to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Couple that with the fundraising tally of spring and summer runners with Team in Training and we have raised more than $330,000.
It's amazing what a small donation can do! Every dollar really does help and when you tally it all up, it's money that can really make a difference. It can go toward advancing cancer treatments. It can go toward bettering the lives of cancer patients. It can, ultimately, go toward finding a cure.
These are the faces of those making it happen.
