On the Road

For drivers heading north on I-95, a tractor trailer crash was reported on the northbound side of I-95 past MD-198 (Exit 33) in Prince George's County. Debris was reported on the roadway. As of 7:21 a.m., all northbound local lanes are blocked. The main lanes are open.

As of a 6:54 a.m., a crash involving an overturned vehicle was blocking traffic in Woodbridge on Old Bridge Rd. in both directions at Springwoods Dr. Drivers should follow police direction.

As of 6:56 a.m., a crash was reported on the southbound side of VA-286/Fairfax County Pkwy near Hooes Rd./Whitlers Creek Dr.

A disabled vehicle was reported at 7:26 a.m. on eastbound I-66 at mile marker 67.6 (0.5 miles west of N. Westmoreland St Exit 68A) in Fairfax County. No lanes are closed.

In D.C., as of 6:50 a.m., a crash was reported on the I-295 northbound ramp to I-695/11th Street Bridge. The left side of the ramp is blocked.

On the Rails

On the Green Line, trains were bypassing the Suitland station shortly before 7 a.m. due to fire department activity. As of 7:20, Metro was using shuttle buses for passengers.

Blue Line service is not operating south of Reagan National Airport through Oct. 22 due to Metro's Blue and Yellow Line construction. Shuttle buses and other alternatives are available. There is no Yellow Line service, with Blue and Green Line service replacing Yellow Line service.

Virginia Railway Express service is fare-free throughout September.

Weather

A chance of showers is possible before 9 a.m. on Tuesday. It should remain cloudy through mid-morning, with gradual clearing. Expect a high near 80 on Tuesday. Mostly clear conditions forecast for Tuesday night, with a low around 59.
