'Tranquility' is About to Wash Over Crystal City

A brand new art show in the Gallery Underground will showcase established and emerging regional artists.

ARLINGTON, VA — Walking through the Crystal City Shops should give you a nice, calming feeling this September.

That's because Gallery Underground will be featuring the "Tranquility" art show, exhibiting artists that create works of a "contemplative spirit with tranquil colors, scenes and thoughts in works that envelope, calm and invite the viewer to linger with the art," according to a statement.

This latest project follows the "BLUE" art show that runs through August in Gallery Underground. BLUE is an all-media juried show that showcases artwork that features blue as the prominent color.
