Travel and Leisure Ranks Arlington Pub as No. 1 in the Nation for St. Patrick's Day
The Celtic House Irish Pub & Restaurant on Columbia Pike has been tapped as the best spot in the nation to celebrate next Friday.
ARLINGTON, VA — Lucky you, Arlington residents: with St. Patrick's Day coming up, you live near what Travel and Leisure calls the best bar in the United States to celebrate the holiday.
The Celtic House Irish Pub & Restaurant at 2500 Columbia Pike ended up at No. 1 on Travel and Leisure's list of "The 50 Best Bars in the U.S. to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day."
The magazine made their selections based on ratings on Yelp.

"Yelp determined the list by first identifying bars frequently reviewed with the word 'Irish,' and then ranking the establishments by ratings and the number of reviews," states the list. "Whether you want to go all out this St. Patrick's Day, or just want to grab a pint on any other day of the year, start at these pubs."
The Celtic House Irish Pub & Restaurant has a four and a half star rating based on 202 reviews on Yelp. Customers praised the pub for the quality of the food, the quickness of service, and, of course, its selection of booze.
