Uber, Lyft Pickup Spots May Be Coming to Clarendon
Police will be temporarily shutting down parking spots late Friday night near the Clarendon Metro station.

ARLINGTON, VA — Uber and Lyft could be changing the driving landscape of Clarendon soon: the Arlington County Police Department will be shutting down parking spots in the area on Friday night to experiment with a designated ride share pickup location.
If you're planning on driving in the Clarendon area Friday night, and specifically in the 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard, be on the lookout for temporary no-parking signs starting at around 11 p.m.
Police are describing it as a "pilot program" for a designated ride share pickup location.
