ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police arrested three men who broke into an elementary school late Monday night, according to authorities.

Police responded just before 11:30 p.m. for the report of a burglary alarm at Escuela Key Elementary, which is located at 855 North Edison St. in Bluemont, according to the incident report. The officers determined that three men entered the school and then fled before police arrived.

A short time later, the officers spotted three individuals who matched the descriptions of the suspects walking in the area and took them into custody.

Police arrested Tarek Khalifa, Julian Torma, and Sean Naff, who were all 18-year-old Arlington residents, and charged them with unlawful entry, according to ACPD. They were issued summonses and then released.

As of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, no information was available about when the three suspects will be arraigned, according to court records.
