Vehicle Plunges Into Potomac River Outside Pentagon
A person reportedly is in serious condition after the incident at Columbia Island Marina.

ARLINGTON, VA -- One person is in serious condition after a vehicle plunged into the Potomac River just outside the Pentagon on Friday.
The Arlington County Fire Department tweeted that a vehicle was underwater at the Columbia Island Marine and was being pulled from the water.

A water rescue team pulled one person from the vehicle while it was still underwater. There did not appear to be anyone else in the vehicle.
WJLA reports that the individual was in serious condition.
