Victim Stabbed with Beer Bottle by Girlfriend's Husband: Police
Also: Police nab suspect in possible 50 vehicle break-ins in parking garages.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 150301015, 4200 block of S. 16th Street. At approximately 5 am on March 1, a victim was stabbed in the stomach with a broken beer bottle by his girlfriend’s husband. The victim was transported to Fairfax Hospital with non-lfe threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene and a warrant for malicious wounding was obtained for Walter Juarez-Cubias, 29, of Arlington, VA.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 150228001, 600 block of N. Randolph Street. At 11:05 pm on February 27, a subject attempted to take a victim’s backpack at a Metrobus stop but was unsuccessful as the victim fought him off. The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male, approximately 6’1” tall, with a slim build. He was wearing all dark clothing.

BURGLARY, 150227029, 3000 block of S. 20th Court. Between 9 am and 12:30 pm on February 27, an unknown subject(s) entered a residence and stole numerous items of value including money and a firearm. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 150227031, 3000 block of S. 20th Court. Between 7:30 am and 12:50 pm on February 27, an unknown subject(s) entered a residence. It was unknown if any items had been stolen. There is no suspect(s) description.
BURGLARY, 150301012, 3500 block of S. 8th Street. At 4:45 am on March 1, an unknown subject(s) entered a residence and was scared off by a barking dog. There is no suspect(s) description.
HABITUAL PETIT LARCENY, 150228008, 1100 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. At 1:40 am on February 28, officers were conducting a plain clothes detail after a series of at least fifty vehicle break-ins in parking garages. A subject matching the description of a person of interest following the previous incidents was caught in the act and taken into custody without incident. Antoine Kennedy, 54, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with habitual petit larceny, possession of burglarious tools and destruction of property. He was held without bond.
