Watch the Incredible Chaos on Metro This Morning [VIDEO]

It's the first workday of the first Metro Safetrack "Surge," and things are not off to a great start.

If you didn't have to take the Metro to work today, be very, very thankful. The early reports are coming in from social media on how the first workday of the Metro Safetrack "Surge" went this morning, and it's not looking good.

Workers began the first of 15 "surges" on the Orange and Silver lines on June 4, and work will continue until June 16 as part of a year-long Metro Safetrack plan to fix chronic problems across the system.

The results have been long delays and extremely crowded platforms, with the added bonus of confusion over which trains to board. Check out some of the chaos below:
