ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are asking the public's help in locating a man who exposed himself to a woman and touched her inappropriately during a robbery early Saturday morning in the Buckingham area, according to the daily crime report.

Officers responded around 1:08 a.m. for the report of a robbery by force on North Henderson Street at 13th Street North. The female victim told the officers she was walking in the area when she noticed a man following her.

As the man approached her, the woman said he started to make sexual comments and then grabbed her buttocks and touched her inappropriately. All the while, he exposed himself and was masturbating. The man then grabbed the woman's purse and hit her multiple times as they struggled.

Once he had possession of the purse, the man ran from the area. According to the victim, her purse contained a phone, wallet and an undisclosed amount of cash. The woman suffered minor injuries from the encounter.

Police searched the area but failed to find the attacker.

Police described the suspect as a white man, about 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6 tall. He was 25 to 30 years old, clean shaven, and had a thin build. He also had tattoos on his neck. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a blue shirt, jeans, and sneakers.
