Woman Finds Strange Man Sleeping in Her Vehicle in Crystal City: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — A woman got quite the shock in Crystal City when she walked up to her car and found a strange man sleeping in it.

Police were called to the 1900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at around 12:20 a.m. on Dec. 14 to a report of a suspicious subject. The woman confronted the man, who fled the scene on foot, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

Thanks to the victim's description of the suspect, police arrested 28-year-old Amir Mansur Haynes of Washington, D.C. on charges of petit larceny, entering or setting in motion vehicle and trespassing, the report states.
