Woman Robbed At Gunpoint In Crystal City: Police
A woman walking in Crystal City early Monday morning was robbed at gunpoint, according to Arlington County Police.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place early Monday morning in Crystal City, according to the daily crime report.
Officers were dispatched around 3:49 a.m., to the 1500 block of Crystal Drive for the report of an armed robbery. They learned that the victim was using her cellphone while she was walking in the area when someone grabbed her from behind, bear hugged her, and demanded her phone. When the victim refused to surrender her phone, the suspect produced a firearm and again demanded the phone unsuccessfully. A second suspect began yelling, as a brief struggle started between the victim and the first suspect. During the altercation, the victim was dragged briefly as the first suspect took her back. Both suspects fled on foot prior to police arriving on the scene. The victim was not injured, according to police.
Police describe the first suspect as a black woman, 20-25, standing 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6, and weighing 140-150 pounds. Her black hair was in a bun and she wore a black face mask, dark hoodie, and long pants. The second suspect is described as a black man, 20-25, standing 5-foot-10 to 6 feet in heigh, and weighing 160-170 pounds. He had short black, curly hair and wore a black face mask, dark hoodie, and long pants.
