7-Eleven, Sunoco Robber Sought In Sterling: Police

Police are looking for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven and then a Sunoco early Wednesday in Sterling: Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

STERLING, VA—Police are looking for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven and then a Sunoco early Wednesday in Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. He's described as black, age 30-40, 5-10, 170 pounds and having dreadlocks. He was wearing a camouflage long sleeve shirt, black pants and a brown bandana around his head.

Shortly after midnight, a man entered the 7-Eleven at 46580 South Cottage Road and was preparing to use cash to make a purchase. But when an employee opened the cash register, the man reached over the counter, whacked the employee in the face with a handgun and grabbed money. Despite efforts by the employee to stop him, he fled the area on foot.

Then, around 3 a.m., the same man entered a Sunoco at 43270 Defender Drive and repeated the drill. Again, he got away with cash.
