Sarah Jane Wagner, 74

Mrs. Sarah Jane Wagner, 74, of Lucketts, VA, passed away April 28, 2012, in Frederick, MD. Sarah was born Jan. 21, 1938, in Owens, WV. She was a daughter of the late Richard Harris and the late Jessie Morgan.

Sarah was the devoted wife of Roy M. Wagner for 53 years. The couple was wed on Feb. 3, 1959, in Monagah, WV. Sarah was employed with Loudoun County Public Schools as a teachers’ aid until retiring in 1997 to begin to care for her grandchildren.

She was the beloved mom of Roy Melvin Wagner, the late Richard Clark Wagner, Raymond Earl Wagner, and Rebecca Lou Nesselrodt.

She was a loving sister to the late Gene Harris, Jerry Harris, the late Sandra Blare, the late Billy Harris, Linda Brown, the late Frank Harris, and Earl Harris.

Beloved Grandma to eight grandchildren:  Mitchell Curt Wagner, Kaitlyn Boyd Wagner, Sarah Elizabeth Wagner, Dalton Boyd Wagner, Carson Lee Wagner, Brett Clark Nesselrodt, Braden Cowger Nesselrodt, and Brodey Craeg Nesselrodt. Sarah devoted her life to her family and will be dearly missed.

Graveside services and interment will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Union Cemetery, in Leesburg, VA. Those who wish to process to the cemetery should meet at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m.
