Studio Bleu Dance Center Ranked 3rd in the Nation;
Dance Company Also Wins 2011 Studio Excellence Award
Studio Bleu Dance Center located in Ashburn, Virginia has been ranked 3rd Overall Dance Studio in the United States by the Federation of Dance Competitions (FDC). In addition, Studio Bleu also won the coveted, Studio Excellence Award, awarded this year to only 13 studios in the nation.
“This is the first year that Studio Bleu has been recognized by the FDC and to be ranked third in the nation is simply amazing!” exclaims Studio Owner, Kimberly Rishi. “To have come so far so quickly is a true testament to the talent and commitment of our dancers and staff. They inspire me everyday!”

Studio Bleu Dance Center has over 2,100 students enrolled in over 300 classes per week in all dance disciplines for ages two through adult. Studio Bleu’s competition team is the largest in the nation. TeamBleu has over 250 dancers and consistently places within the top ten at regional and national dance competitions.
Studio Bleu dancers have performed across the nation as well, including; The Tap Kids Showcase, DC TapFestival, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Wolftrap International Children’s Festival, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Lincoln Center, the Joyce Theatre NYC, just to name a few. Studio Bleu dancers have also been asked to perform at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
