Ashburn Motorist Charged in Hit-and-Run Accident

Crash involved several vehicles west of Leesburg, says Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

A young man from Ashburn is facing criminal charges stemming from a traffic accident Monday morning on Route 9 west of Leesburg.

Amilcar F. Ciciliano, 19, was charged with DUI, driving on a revoked license and felony hit and run, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. He allegedly fled the scene of the accident, which involved several vehicles in the area of Route 9 (Charles Town Pike) and Route 287 (Berlin Turnpike) north of Purcellville.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at 8:03 a.m. Monday, searched the area and located Ciciliano and a passenger in his vehicle. Both had fled the scene on foot, according to a police report.
