VETERANS DAY NEWSFLASH
Thank You Veterans
Friends:
In honor of all those who have served and sacrificed for our country and others, I'd like to make you aware of some of the Veterans Day events happening in the area (see below).
If you know a veteran in need of a job, please invite them to attend the Dulles Regional Chamber's T3 - Teaming, Training, and Transitioning Employment Resource Expo on November 16th.
While it is a paying event, a veteran’s (or currently serving member of the military) cost of admission is merely their resume in hand. The Chamber will treat them to breakfast with Undersecretary Michael Cardarelli from the Veterans Administration, as well as Marine Corps’ 16th Sergeant Major, Carlton Kent. They will also be introduced to trainers and potential employers such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Northern Virginia Community College, Stratford University, Booz Allen, Citibank, and more.
This is more than a job fair – it is a unique employment resource gathering. The event takes place at the Mason Inn, Nov. 16, 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
