LCPS Substitute Teacher Pleads Not Guilty To Making Online Threats
The case against a Loudoun County substitute teacher accused of making threats against a school will be reviewed by a grand jury in June.
ASHBURN, VA – The Loudoun County substitute teacher accused of making threats against a county high school has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of making written threats.
The case against Hadyn Dollery, 19, of Chantilly, will now be reviewed by a grand jury.
Loudoun Now reports that witnesses during the Tuesday hearing said Dollery used the Discord social media application to discuss thoughts about murdering students at John Champe High School in Aldie, as well as harming other people. Messages also referred to a “kill list.”

Dollery’s public defender said the threats were not made against people but buildings, and that discussions of the threats referred to past thoughts, not future actions, Loudoun Now reported.
Dollery was arrested on April 20 after Loudoun County police were made aware of these alleged online threats via the county's anonymous app for reporting threats to schools. Dollery had not worked at John Champe High School.
