Event Details
One Loudoun invites the community to its signature pet event, the Halloween Bark Bash. This outdoor, Halloween-themed festival brings together local pet-focused businesses, animal rescue groups, and pet owners for a day of trick-or-treating, adoptable dogs, music, costumes, and animals galore. This year's festival features over 50 vendors, tenants, and sponsors.
Rescue organizations will bring adoptable dogs and share information about their work at their booths. Adoption applications will be available on site for anyone who wants to get started, though the process varies by rescue. Vendors will offer treats, demonstrations, merchandise and swag.
Event highlights include:
- Costume Contest: At 12:45 PM, judges from the event's sponsors will choose five finalists, and the audience will decide the top three by applause, with prizes for the winners. One Loudoun swag is up for grabs, including a “Date Night” from The Alamo with two movie passes and two snack passes.
- Trick-or-Treat Trail: Multiple stops around One Loudoun offer dog treats, candy and tenant swag. A trail map will list every stop and the promotion each tenant is offering.
- Kids' Activities and Photo Booth: The kids' tent will have face painting and a photo booth.
- Dog Caricatures: A caricature artist will be on-hand to artistically capture your dog’s personality.
- All pets must remain on a leash throughout the event, and owners are asked to clean up after their dogs.
Thank you to this year's sponsors:
