The Carnival Pride is leaving Baltimore....and it's a shame. I have sailed on the Pride several times and loved it. In fact, our former host agency held their convention on it one year. It's very convenient to the Mid-Atlantic region and one of the easiest ports to get to - right off Interstate 95. The economic impact on Baltimore will not be good either, losing hundreds of jobs and millions of dollars in revenue. Carnival Cruise Lines sites future EPA regulations as the main reason for the move. They also left open the option of bringing it, or another ship, back to Baltimore in the future. I certainly hope they do.
