Caught In Video: Man Steals Packages From Front Porch In Sterling

STERLING, VA—Here's something potential thieves might want to consider before swiping delivered packages from residents' front porches. Namely, someone could be watching—if not now, then later. So it went Tuesday in the 46800 block of Vermont Maple Terrace, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Around 4:30 p.m., an unknown man was caught on surveillance video taking parcel packages from the front porch. He was described as being medium-to-dark skinned, 25-30, 5-10 and 180-190 pounds. He had short hair and was wearing a blue cut-off t-shirt, torn blue jeans and blue high-top sneakers.

He also was shown driving a white four-door car. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-0407.
