Chesterbrook Academy Campers Donate 200 Pounds of Food

Summer campers raised & donated nearly 200 pounds of food to Loudoun Hunger Relief during a touch-a-truck event they hosted at their school

On Aug. 10, summer campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Brambleton II on Strickland Drive in Ashburn collected nearly 200 pounds of food for Loudoun Hunger Relief – during a touch-a-truck event they hosted at their school for the community. During the event, children and their families had the opportunity to explore and observe several types of vehicles in a safe environment, including a school bus, fire truck, ambulance, police car, mail truck, garbage truck, construction trucks and more. The vehicles were displayed outside Chesterbrook Academy, and additional activities for families to participate in were offered inside the school.
