Chesterbrook Academy Campers Raise $800 for Darby’s Dancers
Campers held bake sales and an art auction to benefit the nonprofit that provides dance classes to children with special needs
Summer campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in Ashburn Farms and Ashburn Village recently raised nearly $800 for Darby's Dancers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing dance classes to children with special needs at no cost to their parents. To raise money for the organization, campers hosted bake sales and held an art auction featuring pieces they created. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping other children in their community.
