Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Opens New Little Free Library
To celebrate the new community book box at their school, Pre-K students sang a song and discussed the importance of reading
On Nov. 12, students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool Brambleton on Cotton Grass Way in Ashburn hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of their new Little Free Library. During the ceremony, Pre-K students sang a song and talked about the importance of books and how they’ll help take care of the Little Free Library. Through its partnership with nonprofit organization Little Free Library, the preschool is extending its literacy-based curriculum to the community and is encouraging local families to enjoy reading time with their children.
Little Free Library cultivates the exchange of millions of books each year, increasing access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds while inspiring a love of reading and building a sense of community.
